The easiest way to learn how to play is to play with people of your level. To do this, I recommend that you locate the padel club closest to your home or work and invest in training.
If you do, you will meet people of your same level and you will be able to organize matches with them. I assure you that learning in this way will be more fun and effective.
Know your position on the padel court
Before we start, I’ll get you ahead of the way to play the drive, i.e. on the right side of the field, is the easiest way to learn.
However, before you start playing, it is convenient to know that the padel court is divided into three different zones: attack, transition and defense.
- Defense zone: it is the furthest from the network. In it, the goal is to perform defensive punches without seeking to win the point directly, but that allows us to win the net to our rivals. Winning the net is no easy task, but a good tip for this is to make many balloons, so that we can move our rivals to their defensive zone.
- Transition zone: is an intermediate zone between the defensive zone and the attack zone. We should be in this area for as little time as possible.
- Attack zone: it is the closest area to the network, in it we will have the initiative of the points and we will be able to carry out the winning hits.
